Wednesday the 19th is Thank Your Cleaner Day. A day dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating the contribution of cleaning staff around the world.
Professional cleaners play a vital role in our society, often hard at work in the early or late hours whilst most people are at home. They provide us with healthy, safe, and hygienic places to live and work, and without their commitment day in and day out, many businesses would not be able to continue doing what they do. Here at Andron, over 2000 of our skilled cleaning staff keep our customers’ premises running smoothly on a daily basis, across crucial industries such as commercial offices, residential, manufacturing and distribution, retail, banking, and the public sector.
This Thank Your Cleaner Day, we are celebrating with our cleaning staff via our employee app, MyAndron, and our management teams are visiting cleaning staff on-site to personally thank them for their diligence, not only today but every day. Many of our clients have also provided their messages of thanks, to let our cleaning staff know they are valued and appreciated.

While cleaning staff deserve our recognition every day, Thank Your Cleaner Day gives us a great opportunity to say once again, “Thank You!” to the people who keep our places looking their best.
Not only do cleaning staff take care of the places where we live and work, but they more than often go the extra mile for customers, building visitors, and the general public too.
As a company, we have been proud to recognise many of our dedicated cleaning staff through our quarterly Going the Extra Mile Awards this year, not only for their exceptional work, but for showing empathy, kindness, and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. A recent winner of Andron’s “Making a Difference” award was recognised for providing life-saving mental health support to a tenant within their building – a true testament to the impact of our cleaning staff.
Alongside the ongoing quarterly awards, Andron will be hosting its first-ever Going the Extra Mile Annual Awards. In this much anticipated virtual ceremony, we will be celebrating the exceptional work carried out by our employees up and down the country. With 16 diverse categories, we will be recognising and rewarding the very best of our employee’s talents and achievements across categories including: Operative of the Year, Supervisor of the Year, Team of the Year and Living by Our Values. This special event will be live streamed via our employee engagement app, MyAndron, and provides an excellent opportunity for us to recognise even more of our dedicated employees.
