In the true Andron spirit, our Sales Director, Cheryl Stewart, is leading by example and volunteering her time each week to help those in need throughout the COVID-19 crisis. Driving a refrigerated van, Cheryl has taken on her new role as a “key worker” to assist Social Bite in their mission of delivering 4,500 emergency food packs daily across Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Dundee.
In addition to this, Cheryl is also using her van to deliver sanitary items donated by Andron, including nappies, toilet rolls, and hand sanitisers to Social Bite which are currently in short supply.
We know Cheryl’s efforts are making a huge difference in people’s lives right now and we couldn’t be more proud to have her on our team!
Here’s what she had to say:
“I am very fortunate to work for a family business like Andron, who are always looking to give back to the community, and completely supported my idea to volunteer for Social Bite during the lockdown. They provided the refrigerated van I needed, as well as donating money and essential supplies to Social Bite. We are also very proud to have Social Bite as one of our chosen charities and support them in any way we can in their mission to end homelessness.”
