Andron have supplied the cleaning and waste management services at Clyde Shopping Centre for over 5 years now and have recently also been awarded the security contract to provide the full soft services delivery. Since the beginning of our cleaning and waste management contract, we have worked together with the Clyde Shopping Centre to achieve outstanding environmental results in line with the centre’s overall business goals.
Together, we have devised and implemented new and innovate solutions within our industry to achieve our Corporate Social Responsibility goals especially regarding waste management. We are proud that all of our hard work and success in becoming more eco-friendly at the Clyde Shopping Centre and as a result, have been commended both nationally and internationally, winning numerous prestigious environmental awards. Some awards we have won include the Green Apple award for the past 5 years as well as the International CSR Excellence awards 2015 and CSR World Leader 2014 & 2015 award for the past 5 years.
We are continually being challenged in coming up with new ideas to show commitment to sustainability and the local community and some of our initiatives at the Centre include recycling all of our food waste using our food processing system which processes 5350 litres of food per week which is then converted into compost and used as part of our on-site eco-garden which is regularly visited by the local community.
