Andron Facilities Management is a leading provider of bespoke soft service solutions to leading blue chip organisations throughout the UK. Andron have remained a Private Limited Company since its initiation in 1980 and since then we have continually expanded our capabilities to enable us to deliver a complete soft facilities management service including cleaning, security, front of house, pest control, waste service and a wide range of specialist services.
We have a network of regional offices to support our national coverage located in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Warrington, Birmingham and London.
We are proud of our professionalism and adaptability in supplying services across a variety of sectors nationally including financial institutions, commercial offices and complexes, leisure centres, manufacturing environments, educational facilities and major retail parks and shopping centres. We pride ourselves on our bespoke and flexible approach to service delivery models which are designed wholly around our customer individual needs.
Since our inception as a family run cleaning business in Aberdeen in 1980, we have enjoyed strong and steady growth to becoming one of the leading independently owned soft services providers in the UK. Despite this exceptional growth, our family ethos and values are still very much at the heart of our business and everything we do. These principles are the foundation of our business and provide every employee with vision, direction and understanding and help us to work together effectively and efficiently. We apply our core values to every contract we undertake, using them to help us deliver innovative and viable approaches that fulfill our clients' requirements.
By having these family values permeate throughout our business decisions and practices, we have had the ability to develop long standing and trusted relationships with our clients, with some of our contracts being retained for over 30 years.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Andron is committed to being a responsible business and having a positive influence on both local communities and the environment. This approach builds the foundations of the way we do business and how we work with all stakeholders including our clients, colleagues, suppliers and the wider community and environment.
We ensure that all business activities we undertake, which may we have a direct or indirect impact upon people, communities and the environment, are sustainable.
We are committed to developing a more sustainable workplace and building strong environmental management practises whilst continually driving improvement through our ISO 14001 environmental management certification.
We devise innovative strategies for each of our clients which help them in achieving their corporate environmental and sustainability goals, whether its improving recycling rates, reducing building energy usage or winning environmental industry awards.
We actively work to invest in our people as they are at the heart of our success. We actively promote the foundation living wage across all of our contracts
We give our people the training, support and rewards they need to excel in their jobs and reach their full potential. We give back to our local communities by supporting employability and education initiatives wherever possible to give people the opportunity and skills to gain work experience and qualifications.
GENDER PAY GAP REPORTING
At Andron we are committed to ensuring we have the right person doing the right job to enhance our service delivery to all our clients. At every recruitment opportunity candidates are given equal consideration regardless of gender, or other categorisation.
We note that the gender pay gap reported shows the difference in average pay between men and women but it does not measure equal pay which relates to what men and women are paid for the same or similar jobs of equal value. Given the weighting towards male employees in certain categories our gender pay gap reported is not unexpected and is something we will look for opportunities to address in the future.
