January 10th, 2009 Andron Facilities Management, one of the leading facilities management companies in the UK, has been awarded the cleaning and support services contract for the Aberdeen and London sites of subsea engineering and construction company, Subsea 7. The six figure deal covers Subsea 7’s Greenwell site in Aberdeen and its new office in Arnhall Business Park, Aberdeenshire as well as its office in Sutton, London. In total, these sites accommodate over 1500 personnel.
The three year contract provided by Andron will include cleaning, washroom services, janitorial supplies and window cleaning. Two further one year contract options will be available thereafter.
Andron, whose head office is in Aberdeen, is pleased to add this latest contract to their portfolio of clients in the commercial sector. This latest contract award in the commercial sector for Andron highlights another impressive year of sales with current turnover at approximately £17,000,000- an increase of 60% since 2006.
The addition of this three year contract with Subsea 7, compliments a notable client portfolio including oil and gas facilities, financial institutions, commercial property, educational facilities and major retail centres. This includes UK wide agreements with Clydesdale Bank, Yorkshire Bank, Yorkshire Building Society and Halliburton.
Andron Facilities Management Limited was formed in 1980, providing cleaning services to local business in Aberdeen. Business growth resulted in expansion to Glasgow in 1992, Manchester in 1998 and London in 2001. They now provide a range of facilities management services including cleaning, security, waste management and pest control. They current employ over 1700 employees throughout the UK. The company has recently moved to larger premises in London in order to manage the increasing Security and Cleaning contracts in particular. Plans for expansion in 2009 also include a new office in the Midlands.
